This page features a wide variety of sample drill design videos of mine and a handful of live performances. The software used to design my drills is called Pyware 3D Java and it is the best there is on the market when it comes to drill design software.

By taking the time to watch a few of these videos, you'll be able to get a sense of my particular style of writing, which is, to most people, quite obviously a "geometric" style.

My influences in design may seem to reflect that of my drum corps background, but I am constantly studying as many styles of art and music as I can, trying to come up with new and innovative designs and fit that into my style of writing to create very musical and effective visual productions. I always focus very closely on musical staging and visual variety when approaching the drill design. I'm also kind of a perfectionist and always make every effort to produce the highest quality drill possible for every band I design for.

I have been blessed with a career that I absolutely love and I couldn't be more thankful for all of the teachers and mentors I have had in my life. One in particular being Mitch Rogers, who taught me and gave me my start in drill design. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for his helping me get my foot in the door to become a professional visual designer.

Although I feature many sample designs on this page, Mitch deserves credit for assisting me in writing any drills from 2002 until 2006. The Hanks and the Klein Forest shows from 2005 are two of the video samples I have included on here that Mitch assisted me in designing. His help is a primary reason those shows were so well designed and so successful.
