How
Do We Do It?
|
|
|
“This industry
has been doing it this way for years...”
Virtuoso’s beginnings were innocent enough. Dave Nixon, as a
graphic designer in one of those "national firms,"
was approached to do a design project as a freelance project
because the client could "not afford the firm with their tiny
budget." The client was thrilled to have
such high caliber talent that delivered a very successful
solution, for such a great rate. Dave soon began to wonder why "the
firm" charged so much for exactly the same creative
solution, utilizing the same creative talent.
And then, he began to wonder how many other organizations needed
the same high quality and successful creative services that
could not afford the premiums being charged by these national
firms...the answer was and is...all of them.
Hence, the business case for Virtuoso was
born.
How
does it work?
Virtuoso understands what needs to be accomplished from the
customer perspective due to our vast business (not just
creative) experience, from revenue
generation, to gaining market share, to revitalizing a corporate brand,
and comes up with the best, most appropriate business strategy
using creative work to solve it. Then Virtuoso determines the best resource type
and skill sets to achieve the customer
end goal. We use our pool of the best creative talent from
anywhere in the world, with expertise in the area needed, allow them the creative freedom to do their best
work, and keep overheads low by working remotely. Utilizing many years of managing
some of the most successful design projects, delivering appropriate
business solutions and doing it at a fair rate is the basis for
Virtuoso and our model.
